Privacy policy
How RazorERP collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information through our website and in providing the RazorERP service, and the choices and rights you have.
Last updated November 3, 2026
This policy explains how Razor ERP LLC (“RazorERP”, “we”, “us”) handles personal information when you visit www.razorerp.com, contact us, or use the RazorERP service. It replaces our data policy approved on January 1, 2022.
Two roles: our website and our customers’ data
For the website, our sales and support conversations, and our customer accounts, RazorERP decides how personal information is used. This policy describes that use.
Customers also store their own business records in the RazorERP service, such as client contacts and asset records. For that data, RazorERP acts on the customer’s instructions as a service provider (a “processor”), and the customer’s agreement with us applies. See Terms & data processing. If you are an employee or client of a RazorERP customer, please contact that organization about your information.
Information we collect
- Details you send through our website forms: your name, work email, company, and phone number, plus anything you choose to add, such as your role, business type, number of sites, the systems you use, how you heard about us, the documents you request, and your message. We also record which page the form was sent from.
- Information you give us in calls, emails, demos, and meetings.
- Account information for people who use the RazorERP service, such as name, email address, role, and sign-in activity.
- Technical information our servers record when you visit the website, such as your IP address, browser, the pages you request, and the time of the request. We use it to keep the website secure and running.
The website does not currently use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies. If that changes, we will update this policy first.
How we use it
- To answer your enquiry, arrange a demo, and send the documents you ask for.
- To provide, support, secure, and improve the RazorERP service.
- To manage our relationship with customers, including contracts and billing.
- To tell customers about changes to the service.
- To detect and prevent misuse, fraud, and security incidents.
- To meet our legal obligations and protect our legal rights.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.
Where website enquiries go
When you send a form on our website, it goes to a RazorERP service that records it in Pipedrive, the customer relationship management (CRM) system our team uses to follow up. Pipedrive stores it on our behalf.
If Pipedrive cannot be reached at that moment, the service keeps the submission on our own server so that we can still respond, and deletes it once it has been handled. That server is backed up, with encryption, to storage we control.
Who we share it with
- Service providers that host, support, or help us run our business, under contracts that require them to protect the information and use it only for the services they provide to us. Our subprocessors page explains how we choose and list them.
- Systems a customer chooses to connect to RazorERP, such as shipping carriers, marketplaces, data erasure tools, or environmental reporting partners. These connections are made on the customer’s instructions.
- Professional advisers, such as lawyers, accountants, and auditors, under a duty of confidentiality.
- Authorities, when the law requires it, or when needed to protect rights, property, or safety.
- A buyer or successor, if RazorERP is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
Customer data in the RazorERP service
Customers own the data they put into the RazorERP service. We use it only to provide and support the service and as the customer’s agreement allows, and we do not use it for our own marketing.
After a customer’s agreement ends, we keep their data for twelve (12) months so that the service can be restored if they return, and then delete it. A customer can ask for an export, or for earlier deletion, before then.
How long we keep information
We keep enquiry and customer relationship information for as long as we have a reason to, such as an open conversation or an active customer relationship, and for as long as the law requires for records such as contracts and invoices. You can ask us to delete your enquiry details at any time.
Security
RazorERP is certified to ISO/IEC 27001:2022, the international standard for information security management. Personal information is protected by the technical and organizational measures of that management system, including access controls, staff confidentiality obligations, and regular review. Our security pages describe what a security review of RazorERP covers.
No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your personal information, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as the law requires.
International transfers
RazorERP is based in the United States, and information may be processed in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate. When the law of your country requires protection for information transferred abroad, such as the GDPR in the European Union or the UK GDPR, we use the safeguards that law requires.
Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to receive a copy, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict how we use it, to withdraw consent you gave earlier, and to complain to a data protection authority. Residents of some US states, including California, have similar rights.
To make a request, contact us using the details below. We will confirm your identity before acting on it and respond within the time the law allows. We will not treat you differently for using these rights.
Children
Our website and service are for businesses and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed. If a change materially affects how we use personal information, we will make that clear on this page and, for customers, notify you directly.
