Acceptable use policy
The rules for using the RazorERP software-as-a-service platform, what is not allowed, how to report a problem, and what RazorERP may do when the policy is broken.
Last updated November 3, 2026
This policy sets out what is not allowed when using the RazorERP software-as-a-service platform and related services (the “Services”) provided by Razor ERP LLC (“RazorERP”, “we”, “us”). It applies in addition to the customer’s agreement with RazorERP, and replaces version 091717 of this policy.
What is not allowed
You may not use the Services, or help or allow anyone else to use them, to:
- Break any law or regulation, or act unlawfully toward anyone, in any jurisdiction that applies.
- Store, send, or display content that is obscene, pornographic, or excessively violent, or that encourages violence against any person, group, organization, government, or property.
- Infringe anyone’s copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, privacy, publicity, or other rights, or use content you are not authorized to use.
- Gain, or try to gain, unauthorized access to any system, network, service, account, or data, including parts of the Services you have not been invited to use.
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of any system or network, or get around any security or authentication measure, without RazorERP’s written permission.
- Introduce viruses, worms, malicious code, or anything else intended to cause harm.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Services or any user, host, or network, for example by overloading, flooding, spamming, or mail-bombing.
- Send unsolicited messages in bulk from or through the Services.
- Resell or sublicense the Services, in whole or in part, without RazorERP’s written consent, or misrepresent your relationship with RazorERP.
- Copy, reverse engineer, or use the Services to build a competing product.
Your responsibilities
- Keep user credentials secret, give each person their own account, and remove access promptly when someone leaves.
- Make sure your users follow this policy, and tell RazorERP promptly about any misuse or security issue you become aware of.
- Use integrations and automated access only as documented or agreed with RazorERP, and within any limits we set to keep the Services reliable for all customers.
If the policy is broken
RazorERP may investigate suspected violations. Where it is reasonably necessary to protect the Services, other customers, or third parties, RazorERP may suspend access or remove content, and will tell the customer what happened and how to resolve it, unless the law or the circumstances prevent it. Serious or repeated violations may lead to termination under the customer’s agreement, and unlawful activity may be reported to the authorities.
