Privacy Policy






Effective Date: June 30th, 2014


Razor ERP collects certain information through its website, located at www.razorerp.com (“Website”).


This page (this “Privacy Policy”) lays out Razor ERP’s  policies and procedures surrounding the collection and handling of any such information that identifies an individual user or that could be used to contact or locate him or her (“Personally Identifiable Information” or “PII”).


This Privacy Policy applies only to Razor ERP’s  Website. It does not apply to any third party site or service linked to Razor ERP’S  Website or recommended or referred by  Razor ERP’S Website or by its staff. And it does not apply to any other website or online service operated by Razor ERP , or to any of Razor ERP’s offline activities.


  1. PII Collected. Razor ERP collects the following PII from its customers: name, e-mail address, telephone number, address, and credit card number. Razor ERP also uses “cookies” to collect certain information from all users, including Website visitors who don’t buy anything through the Razor ERP  Website. A cookie is a string of data the Razor ERP  system sends to  a customer’s (or potential customer’s) computer and then uses to identify the customer’s  computer when the customer  returns to Razor ERP’s  Website. Cookies give Razor ERP  usage data, like how often a customer  visits, where the customer goes  at the site, and what the customer does there .


  1. Razor ERP’s Use of PII. Razor ERP uses customer’s PII to create customer’s account, to communicate with customer about the Services customer has purchased, to offer customer additional products and services, and to billcustomer. Razor ERP also uses that information to the extent necessary to enforce its Website terms of service and to prevent imminent harm to persons or property. Razor ERP uses cookies so that the Website can remember its customer and provide them with the information they are most likely to need. For instance, when a customer returns to the Website, cookies identify that customer and prompt him/her to provide customer’s username (not user’s password), so customer can sign in more quickly. Cookies also allow the Website to remind each customer of his/her past purchases and to suggest similar products and services. Finally, Razor ERP uses information gained through cookies to compile statistical information about use of the Website, such as the time users spend at the site and the pages they visit most often. Those statistics do not include PII.


  1. Protection of PII. Razor ERP employs data security tools to protect PII. Unfortunately, even with these measures, Razor ERP cannot guarantee the security of PII. By using the Website, customer acknowledges and agree that Razor ERP makes no such guarantee, and that customer’s use the Website is at customer’s own risk.


  1. Contractor and Other Third Party Access to PII. Razor ERP may provide certain independent contractors access to PII of any of its users. However, all such contractors are required to sign contracts with Razor ERP in which they promise to protect PII using procedures reasonably equivalent to Razor ERP’s own procedures. (Users are not third party beneficiaries of those contracts.) Razor ERP  also may disclose PII to attorneys, collection agencies, or law enforcement authorities to address potential AUP violations, other contract violations, or illegal behavior. Moreover, Razor ERP will  disclose any information demanded in a court order or otherwise required by law or to prevent imminent harm to persons or property. As set forth in the Razor ERP Privacy Policy  Razor ERP may compile Website usage statistics from data collected through cookies and may publish those statistics or share them with third parties, but such statistics will not  include PII.


  1. Amendment of This Privacy Policy. Razor ERP may change this Privacy Policy at any time by posting a new version on this page or on a successor page. The new version will become effective on the date it’s posted, which will be listed at the top of the page as the new Effective Date.
